Mia's Biography
Mia is the proud owner of Photography by Mia, of Miami Florida. She started this business back in 2001. She is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Photography, where she excelled in the High Key style of photography.
Her passion for photography started at a young age of 8 years old, after receiving a camera as a gift. Her photography was inspired at the start by her oldest daughter Stephania, for her second child Tiffany.
Her photography was also inspired her by a Professor that was to become her mentor, during her formative time at the university. Her Photo studio, Photography by Mia, Inc. has been in business for over 15 years, and has customers from all over the Globe.
Mia is an extremely gifted photographer obviously, but she is also an extremely savvy business person. She is an entrepreneur with the drive and creativity to thrive in any business endeavor she is in involved in.
Her business education was received in Lima, Peru where she was born and lived until her 21st birthday. She came to the United States of America in 1989, as a young girl she started working in different companies related to business and Freight Forwarding.
Attending the all girls “Saint Mary’s School” where english education was taught as a second language. while attending her high school, she was also enrolled and graduated from the British Institute in Lima.
Her business education was from one of the premiere institutes in Lima, Peruvian Institute for Business Managment (IPAE) from where she received her bachelors in Business Administration. The school did not teach just to educate, but also instilled the passion and drive in its Alum, to go out and become great business people at what ever task they were to choose.
In summation Mia is a person that will win you over with her friendly and easy going personality, she highly spirited, and an extreme people person. She can address any topic of conversation with a high level of knowledge, yet is a great pleasure to speak with. Mia has a way of making everyone around her feel both at ease and wanted.
